Silent Hill: Homecoming is a survival horror video game developed by Climax Studios and published by Konami for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the first game in the Silent Hill series to be released in over ten years, and the first game in the series to be released on a next-generation console. The game was announced at the PlayStation Experience event in December 2016, and was released worldwide on February 14, 2017.In Silent Hill: Homecoming, the player controls Harry Mason, who has been missing for ten years and presumed dead. He returns to his home town of Silent Hill, which has been transformed into a dark and haunted place. The player must explore the town and find ways to escape, while avoiding the town's monsters and other dangers.
